Photo and Video Release

C-Tribe events are photographed and filmed. This release explains how we use that media, and the rights photographers and videographers give C-Tribe Society when they shoot one of our events.

1. Who this release covers

This release applies to everyone who takes part in a C-Tribe event, including C-Tribe Festival and our standalone shows, galas and pop-ups. That includes attendees, designers, exhibitors, vendors, speakers, performers, volunteers and partners. Models also accept our Model Release.

2. Permission to photograph and record you

You give C-Tribe Society, and those acting with its permission, the right to photograph, film and record you, your voice, your work, your products and your booth or display at C-Tribe events. You also give C-Tribe Society the right to use, edit, publish and republish that media, with or without your name, in any format now known or developed later, without payment to you and without needing your approval of the final use.

We may use event media for purposes such as:

C-Tribe websites, apps, newsletters and social media
Advertising, posters, programs and other promotional material
Press coverage, partner and sponsor reports, and grant applications
Recaps, highlight videos, livestreams and archives of the event

3. Photographers and videographers

If you photograph or film a C-Tribe event at our invitation, whether paid or in exchange for a media badge and credit, C-Tribe Society reserves the exclusive right to use, edit and publish all photos and media you capture at the event, in any format.

You may show a selection of your photos and footage from the event in your own portfolio, on your own website and on your own social media to promote your work. You may not sell or license event media to anyone else, or use it to advertise another brand or event, without written permission from C-Tribe Society.

Any payment, credit or delivery terms agreed with you in writing apply alongside this release.

5. Minors

If you bring someone under the age of majority to a C-Tribe event, you give this permission on their behalf as their parent or guardian.

6. How you accept this release

You accept this release when you select “I Accept” or “I agree” on a C-Tribe application that links to it, or when you attend a C-Tribe event. Your name, email address and the date you applied are recorded with your application. Questions? Email hello@ctribefestival.com.
