What is the C-Tribe Festival & Conference?

The C-Tribe Festival & Conference—a diversity-led collision gathering—brings together prominent thinkers, innovators, and creatives across various industries. By way of positive growth through immersive experiences—showcases, music, food, panels, workshops, and special events—we break down silos and create an inclusive environment that spurs enriched relationships and economic, social, and cultural prosperity.

While the event convenes as one synergistic experience, the festival & conference break down into the following verticals:

How can I attend the C-Tribe Festival & Conference?

Purchase your tickets online at ctribefestival.com/passes, or purchase tickets on-site on the day of the event (while quantities last). When you check in at the main entrance, you will be given attendee badges for the type of ticket you bought. Please check your ticket details for the event and where your pass grants access.

Are there any age restrictions for attending C-Tribe?

C-Tribe is an all-ages event. There are some specific areas or activities designated for different age groups, which will be noted on each activity. Attendees ages six or older need a wristband ticket to enter C-Tribe. Management & Staff recommend all individuals under the age of 18 attend with a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must accompany all individuals under the age of 13 at all times.

When and where will the C-Tribe Festival & Conference be held?

November 12th to 17th, 2026 in Edmonton, AB, Canada. The location will feature 8+ venues across Edmonton. Please keep an eye out on the official agenda for exact dates and locations.

When and where can I pick up my C-Tribe Pass?

Pick-up locations will be shared closer to the date. Keep an eye out on social media and email announcements for more info.

What ID do I need to show to pick up the C-Tribe Pass?

You must bring one of the following to pick up your C-Tribe Pass:

  • Government-issued passport
  • ID or Driver's License issued by any Province/State

An adult must accompany minors under the age of 17.

Health & Safety

What are the health and safety policies?

All attendees agree to follow venue policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at the venue. By purchasing a pass, you agree to comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, regulations, and Event Management & Staff rules when attending the Festival. Policies may change according to local mandates. Additional details about policies and procedures will be posted at ctribefestival.com.

Will I be on camera?

C-Tribe attracts local, national, and international press. In consideration for being admitted to the Festival, attendees understand and agree that they may be recorded (by audio, visual, and/or other means) for exhibition and use in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Attendees also release C-Tribe and partners from any liability, authorize use of their name, voice, and likeness, and agree to comply with all rules and regulations of the Festival.

Can I take pictures?

For the most part, you're welcome to take pictures and videos at the Festival. Note that recording (including live-streaming apps) and flash photography are not permitted in panels, performances/concerts, or screenings. Guests have a right to privacy; if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any person behaving in a disruptive manner.

Passes & Policies

What is the Pass Policy?

Badges are to be worn visibly for the duration of your attendance at the Festival. If you are attending multiple dates, you must keep your badge intact over those multiple days.

What is the Refund Policy?

All pass sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Passes are not refundable and non-transferable. If you have misplaced your badge, you will be charged the full ticket price for a replacement. C-Tribe is a rain or shine event. The Guest, Speaker, and Artist lineup is subject to change.

Do you have discounted flights and hotels for out-of-town attendees?

Career Expo

Is there a Career Expo that takes place during C-Tribe?

Yes, the Career Expo will be held during the C-Tribe Village Expo. The C-Tribe Village unites innovators, creators, job seekers, and innovative companies for a groundbreaking showcase. Under one roof, hundreds of local & global exhibitors kindle passions, foster collaboration, and unveil groundbreaking discoveries. Please keep an eye out on our social media and website for the exact date and location.

What can I do during the Career Expo?

What kind of support can I receive if I have received my PR visa but have not landed in Canada yet?

You can enroll in our pre-arrival employment support program. Through this program, you'll receive guidance for creating a Canadian-style cover letter, learn how to conduct a job search in Canada, request mentorship, gain an understanding of your industry or sector, connect with employers, and virtually apply for jobs.

What support can I receive if I have already landed in Alberta?

You can enroll in our Employer Consultant matching program. Through our program, you will be able to participate in job search workshops and much more. Please contact us at hello@ctribefestival.com for more information.

What do I need to prepare for the Career Expo?

Make sure you apply and are approved to attend the event. Have an updated digital copy of your resume and cover letter to send to companies. Lastly, it is helpful to have your LinkedIn profile up to date.

Is the Career Expo a hiring event?

Yes. This hiring event is an opportunity to meet and network with recruiters, including asking them about company culture, current open positions, and how to apply.

The times for the live Career Expo are not convenient for me. Can I still participate?

Recruiters and employers will be live on the event date, but you can still participate after the event by adding your resume to your profile and outlining the interest you have. If your profile matches with an employer, we recommend them after the event has been completed.

Can I cosplay at the Festival?

Cosplaying is encouraged and welcome at the C-Tribe Festival. Many attendees enjoy dressing up as their favourite video game characters, and there is even a cosplay competition at the convention. Stay tuned for cosplay application details.

What should my announcer script for the cosplay contest entail?

Your script should be no longer than six sentences long and adequately describe your character, construction, and any points that make your cosplay unique.

C-Tribe x Tech

What are the C-Tribe Pitch Competitions and how do I enter?

The C-Black Pitch and the C-ElevateHer Pitch Competition aim to close the opportunity and wealth gap by empowering underestimated entrepreneurs and levelling the playing field to help them achieve their dreams. Both pitch competitions will provide prize money to tech-inspired entrepreneurs. But it's not just about the money—it's also about building durable connections.

C-Tribe x Film

How can I submit my project for consideration?

Entries for C-Tribe x Film will be available soon. Please keep a look out for official submission dates via our social media platforms and newsletters. C-Tribe will only accept submissions through the ctribefestival.com platform. No other platforms will be used.

Please ensure that your submission link directs to a secure, online version of your film on an external site, such as your personal website, Vimeo, or YouTube. Confirm the functionality of the submission link before finalizing your application.

Will physical copies of my film submission be accepted?

Please refrain from sending physical copies, such as DVDs or Blu-Rays, as they will not be considered.

What are the premiere and eligibility policies?

To be eligible for C-Tribe x Film, your project must have been completed within the two years prior to the festival or be on track for completion in the festival year. Your feature film is ineligible if it has:

  • Screened publicly in a theater in Canada at one or more non-festival screenings before C-Tribe
  • Been released via any public online distribution platform (streaming, VOD, SVOD, etc.)
  • Been released in Canada via television broadcast before C-Tribe
  • Been released publicly online before C-Tribe

What are the premiere status definitions?

  • World Premiere — Not screened theatrically in any country, not broadcast/streamed on television, not released via any distribution platform in any country prior to C-Tribe.
  • International Premiere — Not screened theatrically outside of its country/countries of origin prior to C-Tribe.
  • North American Premiere — Not screened theatrically in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, or any other North American territory prior to C-Tribe.
  • Canadian Premiere — Not screened theatrically in Canada prior to C-Tribe.
  • Alberta Premiere — Not screened theatrically in Alberta prior to C-Tribe.
  • Edmonton Premiere — Not screened theatrically in Edmonton prior to C-Tribe.
  • Not a Premiere — Your film has screened theatrically in Edmonton at a film festival, been released in a country other than Canada via broadcast, or been broadcast/streamed on television.

C-Tribe x Music

What is the C-Tribe x Music Festival & Conference?

It's an annual music event combining an immersive music development conference with a vibrant music festival. This interactive gathering unites music aficionados and festival enthusiasts, delivering a series of dynamic performances that entertain and empower the next generation of emerging musicians. Showcasing the latest talents in Pop, Country, Folk, Hip-Hop, and R&B (to name a few), it's a collision of sounds and ideas that sets the stage for the future of the music industry.

What kind of music should I expect?

The Music Festival features over 40 artists from a variety of genres ranging from Pop, Country, Folk, Hip-Hop, and R&B, to name a few. Please keep an eye out on our website and social media for official artist announcements and venue locations.

How do I apply to perform at C-Tribe x Music?

Showcasing Artist applications will open soon. When submissions open:

  1. Go to clabs.ctribefestival.com/form/artist
  2. You must have a C-Tribe ID account. Click “sign in” then either log in or create an account.
  3. When logged in, click “Apply Now” to open the application.
  4. Fill out all relevant information (required fields are marked with an asterisk).
  5. Click “Submit”

The person listed as Primary Contact should be someone authorized to respond on behalf of the act and who frequently checks their email.

How are artists chosen to play at C-Tribe x Music?

The C-Tribe x Music programming staff and additional team members listen to and evaluate acts according to originality, technical ability, songwriting skills, career establishment, and overall artistry. Every application is reviewed and evaluated by multiple parties and boards, then invitations are extended to those selected.

What is the payment and credential policy for showcasing artists?

Showcasing artists will receive a registration package consisting of an Artist Credential Music Pass for each performing member of a group, plus special artist-only benefits. Artists are also compensated for their performances, which is decided on a case-by-case basis.

C-Tribe x Fashion

Can I buy a pass for all the C-Tribe x Fashion events?

Of course. We offer a variety of passes that help you accomplish this. The Diversity Pass, Tribe Pass, VIP Pass, Executive Pass, and C-Tribe x Fashion Pass all get you access to C-Tribe x Fashion events. They each provide a different level of access, so please visit the Passes page for more information.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

Upgrades may be available if tickets are not sold out.

Can I get a Bottle Service Package if some members of my group are under 18?

No, only those 18 or older are permitted to enter designated bottle service areas. You must be 18 years or older to enter the venue with a Bottle Service Pass.

When do I arrive for the C-Tribe x Fashion Show?

VIPs will need to arrive at minimum 30 minutes prior to the show start time. VIPs can gain entry through a designated VIP line. Please keep in mind that VIPs need to be checked-in at least 15 minutes before the show, otherwise they may lose their seating for the first segment.

What should I wear to the C-Tribe x Fashion Shows?

We highly recommend dressing to impress, and being fashion-forward. Follow @ctribexfashion on Instagram for tips.

Is there an age limit for C-Tribe x Fashion?

While we do believe in a family-friendly environment, please keep in mind that this is fashion and the ultimate self-expression. There may be expressive outfits presented by designers and worn by the models. Please exercise caution when deciding to bring young children.

How can I model for C-Tribe x Fashion?
